Basically its like this I want to hit as many choice offroad spots on the way back from New River AZ to Chicago(I will be in AZ from at least the 8/8 to 8/14 gotta visit the parents.) Probably going to go through Colorado on the way there or on the way back it depends. I would really like to check out the Ouray area. Any suggestions were to camp, stay or wheel. My baggage consists of a Rottwelier and a wife (in no particular order):D

Let me know

Thanks

We will be in Moab the week of 8/11-8/17, the off to Denver, wheel Sat 8/18, head back to Cali on 8/19.

Not sure what trail we'll be on in CO yet, but I'm sure it will be a good one:D

if you wont a fun trail in CO try Pearl Pass from Aspen to Crested Butte. Make sure it is open first and snowed in still.

I-Man, Arizona is one big offroad adventure. There is a book available with all the trails on it, I believe it's called Arizona Backroads and 4wheel drive trails. This is the same publisher as the book we use for Moab. You're not going to have any trouble finding a trail or road in Arizona, it's still the wide open spaces out there. Have a great trip!:)

I wondering more about CO trails I'm not real familar with them. AZ rocks I know my parents live in New River. BLM land is in their back yard ( Apache Peak) we just grab the quads and trucks and unlock the gates and we are wheeling, and the Crown King trail Head is about 5 miles away by Lake Pleasant.
