sorry http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif , this has probably been beat to death,
i am getting ready to buy the rancho 4" kit and need to know, can you put BFG MT 37-12.50-17 on the stock wheels with little or no rub.
i just got my stock wheels back from the
powder coaters today and want to upsize the tires.

You don't need to lift the truck at all to run those tires.

I was told the FACTORY wheels have the wrong offset for the Rancho Lift. HummerTeam went with aftermarket wheels.

You could buy wheel spacers instead of new wheels.
The backset will change with the right ones.

Also, some people on here still run stock wheels with the Rancho.

One guy I know has a slight rubbing problem with stock wheels. It is minor though.

I am running 37x12.50x17 Goodyear MT/R's and have no problems. I was looking at lifts but all have said that you cannot run factory wheels. I ahve never been fond of the spacers though.

I looked into wheel spacers a while back. They are not street legal and come with a disclaimer for offroad use only. I would be leary to run them everyday at 80 mph.

Just a thought.
