Have any of you guys been backing out of your driveway, a parking spot, etc. with your foot on the break and had the break pedal kind of push back at you? I don't know if I'm describing it the right way but it's almost like the break pedal grinds. Again, this only happens in reverse. Is this normal? It seems to only happen when I get to end of my driveway (which has a very slight downslope) and I'm ready to put the car back in drive.

Normal check of the ABS system after startup and placed in gear will cause a kick back in the pedal; more noticeable in reverse, but if you ride the brake a bit in drive you might be able to feel it.
This has been common on many GM vehicles (and others too) for many years.

How did I know you would have the answer:D ? Now that you mention it, this is something that I noticed on my Denali as well (man, I miss that truck). Is this unique to GM cars though? If so, why?

I guess this is as good a place as any to publicly THANK f5fstop for all the help he has given me with his advice and suggestions with the issues I have had been having with my H3 for the last few months. As of this last Tuesday it appears that the issues have been fixed and corrected. Without f5fstops knowledge and help, I would NOT have known what the problems were. He was RIGHT ON! Thank you. You are a :perfect10s:, f5fstop!![/B][/B]
