Today I attended the last day of the Hummer Club's Windrock event in Oak Ridge, TN. Here are some photos of the new H3 I took before hitting the trails. It looks great in person.

Great pics! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

2 (apparent) differences from the NY auto show thread with pics:

1. Are the tires smaller?
2. Where is the cover for the gas filler? Is that part of the chrome option?

I want one to go with my H2 http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Maybe it's just the yellow. But it doesn't sit as well with me as I thought it would...

My wife says it's not a hummer unless it has the clearance lights http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I wonder how much the add-on will be?

I saw a H3 at the Inland Empire Auto Show in Pomona Ca. yesterday and it had clearance lights on it. I will post photos soon

What you are seeing here is how they will look from the factory. The gas cover, the clearence lights or upper fog lights, and step bars brush gards are all dealer add ons. From what I've been told, the dealer has a lot of add ons available. The tires are the smaller 32" ones. By the way, the gas cap is from the Aztec.

Yes. They told us there would be lots of dealer add-ons but no specifics. BTW - There is supposed to be a red one with chrome at a car show in Knoxville today, plus we saw another silver one on the interstate on the way back home.

I believe what they are thinking is alot of these will be more of a base option plus alot of these will never off roading other than the driveway. That is where the off road option comes in for the adventures.

I will have to say that the interior of the truck looked very nice. Less plastic than my SUT, and the gauges looked very similar to the new H1 Alpha.

I'm sorry im not impressed with the h3 I thought
from pic's before it looked better maybe cause the pic's where close up shots making it look big. It's really starting to look like a modified cayon with a hummer grill. For the price of it I think you can do better. Sorry wanted to be all hyped up about it.

I cannot afford an H2 so I will buy the H3. I think it looks great and if i had a dime for evey H1 owner who dissed the H2 I'd have enough to bouy one. It's all good!

I saw the H3 at the NY auto show. For me, it looks much better in person that the pics can show. I do not think most of you will be disappointed once it can be seen.

Nice pics, mstams. Can't wait to see it with some BFG A/Ts on it, or maybe some little(http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif) MTRs.

After seeing the H3 at the Auto show with the 33's, I think 35's may even fit. Slight lift may be needed for that, but with 16" rims, there will be many tire options to go with.

My dealer told us, we'll be lucky to see our before June. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
Than after he told us he could do supplier discount, he decided to tell us it will be a few months after the first ones come in, that he will honor supplier. I guess, spending a potential 85K to 90K with them wasn't enough.
... on to the next dealer I guess or I just need to talk to his boss and tell him/ her about the broken promise (BS).

timgco. try Bergstrom in WI or Lynch in MO. they will recive more than anyone and once they hit the ground start hittin the phone. Someone will honor it. Sewell in Dallas maybe too.
If you call up and say I have the money right here right now and the truck is on the ground, things happen. or offer to buy some accessories from them so they make a little?

i put deposit on boulder-grey H3 w/ manual tran & everything but roof-hole & XM... chrome does not include gas cap. they said this would be dealer add-on.

MSTAMS, how was the shifting on the manual transmission?

the more H2 owners that think it's wimpy & illegitimate should translate that Hummer is on the right track in expanding their market brand. not everyone wants an 8-ton truck, but many want the style & performance of what Hummer was built on.

still not too comfortable with engine choice, but i think it's a good start if the chassis will allow room for displacement options in the future.

Dealers that have their new facility completed get a 35% bump over everyone else in allocation. If you are looking for a good allocation dealer go to one that has their facility built.

The more I see those pic's it really starting to look like my dad's old jimmy with the hummer front grill. I came from a dealership the other day and unless you order the base price model you'll get a good buy. The adding on will push the price up were you could really get a better buy for your buck I feel. p.s. compare the xterra to it and price you'll be shocked. I hope the h3 will win cause I was looking to buy one. I'm a tuff consumer. I go to each website and print spec's out then compare and then compare pricing no big rocket sciense.
