Nah, that's the Jeep Patriot. Don't know why it's camouflaged - Jeep already has pics on their website.

Better 2008 Liberty photos. Incredibly similar to the Patriot, but yet not... I'm confused.

How about that. Apart from the front fascia and a slightly different fender line, it looks just like the Patriot. It was about time to update the Liberty's styling, but making it look so much like its stablemate is weird.

Essentially it is, but it's Trail Rated, so it's actually really tough ;)
I like the Nitro. They had one at Paragon this last weekend. It was a horrible color, but it looked like a neat vehicle. The door handles are interesting.

I like the Liberty's new look, had a old liberty as a daily driver for a while. It is not the equal of a hummer but for a daily commuter, for driving over the Alleghenies in the winter, it was a great vehicle. It's driving position is superior to the H3 and it rear seat fold flat so when they close the turn pike because of the snow I had a place to stretch out. But I will take my H3 anyday

Regardless of which Jeep model it is, this section is "other off roading vehicles". Now what ever that piece of crap posted is NOT an off roading vehicle. We really need a section on the site called "watered down SUV's." Then we could move this thread over there and it would then be in its appropriate catagory.

I just saw a picture of the 2008 Liberty that was picked up by Brenda Priddy after a tipoff:

Looks like a sized-down Jeep Commander. Vast improvement over the current chick truck. Any chance they can retire the Liberty name and bring back the Cherokee?
