What exactly is a "tea party"? Does it have anything to do with Ken's French maid outfit?

It's a party with Tea, little sandwiches and petit fors. It's my first one so don't get all snickery. It's kinda fun playing with all my stuff that I never use.

Little tea cups, little spoons, floral arrangements and pressed linen. You guys are just jealous you can't do that stuff because it would be unmanly.

Freaky. Of course, I hate spiders (http://elcovaforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19712).

Just kill it with something you can spray from a far. The cold months are upon us and we don't need these things to mind the bugs for us any more.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. I had a spider like that before, I went to step on it and it stared me down. When I got my shoe on it, it flipped me backwards. Ended up as a 3 day battle, in the process half of my house was destroyed and I had 3rd degree burns over 70% of my body. So don't think they are more scared than you, they have no fear.

Spiders are well-known to hold grudges. They'll sit and wait until you're sleeping, then repel from the ceiling down to your pillow, crawling silently and stealthily up to your mouth or ears or nose. Then they'll choose which opening is best suited for them to lay their eggs. After that they climb back to their hiding place and await the hatching of their brood.
Haven't you ever heard the story of the lady that woke up one morning to find what she thought was some kind of pimple? After a couple of days of it growing and becoming more & more uncomfortable she started itching it. The skin suddenly split and hundreds of baby spiders poured out.

Ooooooohhhhh yeahhhh, I heard about that woman! When the 'pimple' split open, hundreds of tiny spiders came running out. About a hundred ran into her nostrils, the others into her ear canals and the rest into her mouth. Before she knew what was happening she began to rub and itch her face .. smearing the slowest of the spiders into her pores. When she ran to the mirror to look, she saw thousands of tiny spiders running confused all around her lips and all over the smeared ones. She ran screaming. To this day she sits.... scratching, itching and pulling imaginary spiders out of her ears, nostrils and mouth. :giggling:

Yeah, you're right. Something along these lines happened to me once when I lived in Miami. I had been on a long trip and had left my car parked along some bushes. Three weeks later, I come back, swept the fallen palm fronds off the car roof ... wiped away some spider webs (like those big banana spiders) .. and got in to pull out the car. I positioned the a/c vents towards me because it was the usual 95 degrees/100% humidity and I was hot. All was fine until I turned on the a/c. OMG!!! Thousands of tiny spiders came flying out of the a/c vents right into my face, neck and hair. They must have been laying eggs for 21 days. I had to take it to the dealer and they had to blow out the vents. Florida and Texas ... GG, too many bugs.

ALBANY, Ore. — A 9-year-old boy who complained of an earache was a little surprised when the doctor told him that a pair of spiders had tried to make a home out of him.

"They were walking on my eardrums," said Jesse Courtney.
One of the spiders was still alive after the doctor flushed the fourth-grader's left ear canal.
His mother, Diane Courtney, said her son insisted he kept hearing a faint popping in his ear — "like Rice Krispies (http://javascript<b></b>:siteSearch('Rice Krispies');)" — before the earache sent them to the doctor.

Dr. David Irvine said it looked like the boy had something in his ear when he examined him, but he could not immediately identify it. So he irrigated the ear, and the first spider came out, dead. The other spider took a second dousing before it emerged, still alive. Both were about the size of a pencil eraser.

Irvine said it was a first for him as a physician. "It was the only time I ever pulled out an invertebrate," he said.

Jesse was given the spiders — now both dead — as a souvenir. He has taken them to school and his mother has taken them to work.

"It was real interesting, 'cause, two spiders in my ear — what next?" Jesse said.

(Oregon huh? :fdance: )
