Wow! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif Very cool.

Either he lives in the boonies, or his neighbors hate him!

Someone posted this last week but it is still cool. I would bet they took stills of every possible lighting combo from a tripod then synced everything to the audio. Either way it was pretty creative.

If you look to the left of the house there is a blinking light that must be from radio tower or something. It's blink rate is consistant.

I'm not much into the Xmas lights like many of my suburbite brothers, however I have to admit, this took the Griswold's to a whole new level.

I dug it.

I was watching that light myself and I agree that it definitely makes it appear authentic. Could be, not sure but you could also time that with stills to make it look more real. Either way, someone put a hell of a lot of effort into it and should be commended.

Someone is on Repost patrol tonight. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I was looking at the grass right in front of the camera and it looks like it was done with stills.

BTW, Putfile sucks! They pulled all my vids. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

The video is legit and I plan on throwing my neigbors into instantaneous seizures next year using the same methods. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I saw the grass too but agree but agree it could be caused by something like the compression of the video.

Kewl, now I have somewhere to redirect all my unused Halloween energy. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Christmas isn't complete unless you have to map out all your wires such that you don't blow a fuse. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

BTW, HGTV has a show on spectacular Christmas displays every year. I haven't seen one quite as intense as that video, but they have a lot of enginerds who sync the lights and music....basically monster boards that take up their entire garage/basement. Cool but scary.

I saw the house and family on the Today Show this morning.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

He is a computer programer and found the software on a couple of websites. A man did his to Beethovens 5th and it inspired him to do the same. He broadcasts the music on an fm station so he won't p.o. the neighbors. Pretty cool.

I saw him on the CBS evening news today. The Trans Siberian Orchestra flew him out to one of their concerts. Some Beer company wants to use it. And the Police shut him down after a fender bender in front of his house.

Hell, I don't put up Xmas lights. After damn near falling off the roof one year and nearly taking a header onto the concrete driveway I decided no more.

OK I will admit it was wet, and the roof was made of cedar shake and I was wearing worn out birkenstocks.....But, I almost killed myself.

Now, I just enjoy the hard work of my neighbors.

The owner/creator of the house was on The Early Show this morning. He said that the cops made him "shut down" b/c there was a fender bender in front of his house. They said it was a public safety hazard or some crap like that. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
