As the coverage of XM radio doesn't seem to extend to Europe, I was wondering if you were listening to some other satellite radio in Europe in your HUMMER? Are you using the factory OEM radio? Was this other satellite radio installed by your European HUMMER dealer?

I don't use satelite radio. Only listen to cd's in my truck. Never radio.
I 've never informed if satelitte radio is even available over here.

It looks like we are out of luck for awhile regarding European satellite radio. This is WorldSpace's response to my email about mobile coverage in Europe:

Thank you for contacting WorldSpace with your query.

In order to provide you with superior satellite radio service in Europe and Northern Africa, WorldSpace is modifying and upgrading its current satellite technology as well as content programming in preparation for mobile services. As such, current subscription service on the Afristar North-West Beam will no longer be available effective December 1, 2007. Click here (http://130.94.66.14/maintenance/affectedCountries.html) to view complete list of countries affected.

What this means to potential European and Northern African consumers interested in subscribing to WorldSpace Satellite Radio Service:

Effective immediately, WorldSpace will no longer sell subscription service in the North-West Beam of the Afristar satellite. Stay tuned for updates on when we will resume our services in Europe and Northern Africa.

What this means to current paying WorldSpace Satellite Radio Service subscribers in Europe and Northern Africa:

In an effort to ensure your continued listening enjoyment to all current paying European and Northern African subscribers, WorldSpace will offer free subscription service renewals through November 30, 2007.

If you would like to be notified regarding future subscription availability in Europe and Northern Africa, please email WorldSpace your name, mailing address and email address.

WorldSpace apologizes for the inconvenience this may cause our current and potential customers. However, we are very excited with the prospect of improving our service to ultimately serve you better.
