This is really no different from any Glock from a safety perspective. If you fully pull the trigger, it's goes BOOM. That's it. Don't be an idiot and you and your family will be just fine. The DAO with no saftey is exactly like my Kahr PM9 too.

Firearm safety rules

1. All guns are always loaded!

2. Never point the weapon at anything you are not prepared to destroy!

3. Keep your finger off the trigger until the sights are on the target! (Very Important always, but especially for your gun)

4. Always be sure of your target and the backstop beyond!

It is Guaranteed that whenever a negligent discharge of a firearm has occurred, at least one of those rules was violated.

No break the rules- no problems.

But the Glock won't fire unless you pull the slide back after you've inserted the magazine.

And on the Glock 17 there's a safety lever on the trigger. It won't fire unless pulled in unison. Cool safety feature.

What I love about this one (which is HUGELY important point) is how every hollywood movie butchers it. Every guy carrying a gun always has his finger squarely centered over the trigger at all time his gun is drawn. You'd think the idiots in Hollywood that spend 100 Million on a movie would figure that out. Every cop, military guys, gun lover sees how stupid they look.

Firearm safety rules

1. Always handle your guns when you are loaded!

2. Just point the weapon at anything you want to destroy!

3. Keep pullin the trigger until the target is out of sight if you are a bad aim! (Very Important, but pratice makes perfect)

4. Always be sure of your target is dead and everyone beyond so they cant tell on you!

It is Guaranteed that whenever I intentionaly discharge my firearm, at least one mutha fuka got smoked.

Dont piss me off and - no problems.
