Quick question, right now I have some cheapo glass lens that came with the aftermarket 7" buckets I cannibalized. I'm thinking that the OEM lens being polycarbonate would be a better choice, because of flying rocks and thermal shock from water imersion. With a little trimming on the back side of the lenses I can get them to fit. What do you guys think? I'm on the fence on this one, feeback would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I have had the projector style bixenons with the OEM polycarbonate lens installed since January 2004 with no problems. I would stay with the polycarbonate. You don't want any rocks kicking up and breaking that light.

I just put on 3M light protection film on top of the poly lens, just for extra measure.

Very nice job, must have taken alot of patience...now you need to remove your bush bar and repaint it, looks like you have some rust there.
