Looking to do a Saturday ride in January. Any week except the first Saturday. Anyone up to cold weather wheeling?

Cool. I hope to have my rocky road sliders installed by then, and hopefully the UCP by the February ride. Until then, I'm probably gonna stick w/ level II this time around. Looking foward to another good trip! Get any new stuff from santa?

Yeah Level II is cool I'm still getting used to the tires and not having the offroad package. My girl got me a set of tire deflaters and a heavy duty recovery kit. Working on the winch and a wilderness rack for the next spending spree. See you on the 6th always a good time, I can't wait. My girl may be coming on this trip, will you be solo? I need someone to take pictures.

As of now it looks like I'll be solo; the bride balks at the one day trip up and back. I will be working on getting a friend or relative to come along but not sure how successful I'll be.

I've been eyeing roof racks too; right now it's a toss-up between adventure and defender. I'll be interested in hearing your opinions. If only $ grew on trees!

Ask my kids where the tree is on my property!:jump:

Tell me about it. Between feeding them, clothing them, educating them and providing a roof over their heads it leaves no $$ for buying copious amounts of totally unnecessary off-road equipment and upgrades!

Fixed to reflect reality.

Quite true.

I meant "unnecessary" only in the sense that the truck performs damn well off-road in the stock configuration.

All the crap I'm buying/looking to buy is really extra goodies.

Unless you can help me with good excuses I can B.S. my wife with!

Sorry guys couldn't make it up on Saturday so I rescheduled for Sunday. It was alot of fun, just 6 trucks in my group and some great pucker factor trails, got stuck only once....Dam spring shackle mount and a tree stump. I think Pops is planning another trip up on January 20th hope to see you then. Got pics? I will post as soon as I shrink them.

Yea we used some recovery equipment ourselves after yours truly led the tail end of the group down the wrong trail. Lots of metal on rocks sounds. I'm surprized I made it out alive!
