No it has nothing to do with two gloved men sparring on a canvas square ringed by ropes and trying to knock each other out.

Boxing Day, a national public holiday in Australia and New Zealand, is celebrated yearly on December 26, a day after Christmas Day. :D

Even though it's already Wednesday the 27th, 12:10 PM in Victoria, I'll say Happy holiday mates! :perfect10s:

Actually the Canadian dollar, also known as the loonie (for real) has been inching very close to parity with the US dollar. Why do you think that silly messican elf is dancing so much.

Boxing Day is an English Holiday. Or was first, rather.
Boxing Day is a public holiday (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_holiday) celebrated in the United Kingdom (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom) and most other Commonwealth countries on December 26 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/December_26), the day after Christmas Day (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_Day).[1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boxing_Day#_note-0)[2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boxing_Day#_note-1)

I remember when I was a young boy thirty years ago $1CAN = $0.85US.

We use to cross the border to the USA and treat them Americans like pheasants.:jump:
