I'm wanting to download some music for my MP3 to walk/run and workout with. I just wanted to know some songs that you guys like to work out with that really pumps you up and makes you want to keep working out. I like all kinds of music. My mind just goes blank trying to think of songs. I'd like to start out kind of slow then have the music speed up as needed then slow down for the cool down. I know there are some CDs out there somewhere that people have already do this with, but don't know if it would be music I like and I'm not real sure where to find it. I thought with all the different people on the forum and the ones that really like to work out you could help me. Thanks

Metallica is good work out music. Some old school Gn'R gets the blood pumping.
One particular favorite that always gets me fired up is F*ck the police, by NWA or Rage against the machine (they are equally motivating).
You might have different choices.

you guys are not much help, Dennis would have better music choices than some of that.:giggling: I really like dance songs. Like the song - A little bit of ecstasy by Jocelyn Enriquez. And Madonna, old disco music, Rap music from the late 80's and 90's. Old WHAM. Justin Timberlake. Stuff that you would hear if you went out dancing at a club. I just thought you guys could help, a lot of you are single and go out alot and I thought you might know of some great music. And I bet a few of you are gay and you know you have the best choices in dance music :giggling: , not that there is anything wrong with that. :giggling:

When I am lifting weights I listen to heavy beat metal but when I am doing cardio I listen to Offspring or some other fast pace/high energy music. My favorite running cd is Offspring "Smash". Favorite lifting cd Hatebreed "Rise of Brutality".

just a suggestion if you like dance music check out Every Time We Touch by Cascada it just got a cool technoish sound to it. But what I listen to when im going out wakeboarding or surfing or whatever that gets me pumped up is some stuff by Bush, Disturbed, Panic! At The Disco, Goldfinger, and also like GLBLWARMR said The Offspring Really anything rock as long as its not punk, but I'm not quite sure if you'll like that stuff, just trying to help out!
