Microsoft who?
http://www.apple.com/iphone/
Looks pretty amazing. I'm not much for PDA/smart phones, but I think I'm going to get one(eventually).
The Widgets are very cool. I've got them on my desktop and they're super handy.

It looks really awesome.:dancingbanana: Apple is definitely upping the ante on handheld do-hickies. Did you notice that research in motion's stock went down? If you dig through the apple website you will find that it is only available with cingular, in June. This probably means it will be with cingular exclusively for about 8 months. Most of the talk about the iphone before today discussed that apple will really have to get cozy with one of the wireless companies to pull off a breakthrough into the cell phone market, so cingular probably has apple by the balls a bit. Which means I'll probably be changing my cell phone company soon. Sorry verizon, but your phones do suck. Cingular always gets the best phones first. All in all it might be wise to wait for a second generation one or at least untl we find out if its got any bugs.

It looks really awesome.:dancingbanana: Apple is definitely upping the ante on handheld do-hickies. They also dropped "Computer" from the company name to signify their move into consumer electronics. And their network is slowly but surely going bye-bye which means the service will suck soon too. Cingular always gets the best phones first. All in all it might be wise to wait for a second generation one or at least untl we find out if its got any bugs. And the price drops :fingerscrossed:
I'm not a complete gadget freak but unless the first generation ones start catching fire in people's pockets, I'm betting I'll be getting one. :D The only thing I see that its missing is corporate email.
hope they are not beting the farm on that to save them.....on the same note APPLE COMPUTER, INC. changed thier name to APPLE, INC. today aswell......

Windozers admit defeat!
You guys keep trying, repeat trying, to be cool, but your always behind apple.
Since you don't use a mac you can't comprehend the interface improvements yet. All your toys will be garbage soon. :clapping:
Sewie - considering it has full internet capabilities and switches to wifi automaticly I think you would be able to pick up the corporate email.

I was considering a Mac, but since DRTY is a 2nd cousin to Bill Gates I just can't do it.

X2. Be nice to have a camera and video capabilities. But it's the sweetest looking phone up to date.
Sewie - considering it has full internet capabilities and switches to wifi automaticly I think you would be able to pick up the corporate email. That's a nice feature. Just driving down the street with the volumn up, I get notified of all the wi-fi connections around. Oh wait. Sorry. That's the 8525 (http://business.cingular.com/businesscenter/8525/index.jsp), not the one you're talking about.

I meant push email, like Blackberry. Hell, I've accessed my company email via webmail on my PSP :D but its not the way I'd want to do it everyday.
If it supports POP3 and your company allows that (most don't) that would be okay. Or if it supports ActiveSync/OMA that would be even better.
