I've done some searchin through the sight and found different opions on different sizes.
I would like to come specific on what I am looking for.

For the last year I ran 22" x 10 rims with rubber bands. They are now shot. Place the brand new stockers back on and OH MY! how nice she rides.

So I would like to continue to use the 22s but get rid of the rubber band and replace with a mud terrain (tough looking, aggressive) off road tire.

What is the largest I can go to without a lift?
What tires have you been satisfied with?

I heard of a BFG mud terrain the took the Krawler paws with it. This is what I would go towards.

Thanks

Ditch the 22's and rubber bands.

Go with stock rims and 315 BFG AT or MT or Toyo Open Country

Thats the one I am favoring.
Will this tire fit on my 05 H2?
Size: LT335/55R22
Overall Diameter: 36.8 inches
13.5 inches wide on an 11-inch wheel

My rubber bands where 325/50/22 toyos...They actual rubbed slightly at full out turn.

I really don't want to give up the wheels. The truck is all blacked out, the wheels go perfect. I do some off roading, not to aggresive though.
She's my grocery getter.
Here's a pic. They are not cleaned and polished, but you can get the idea.

Try this wheel/tire size comparer. This will compare stock oem to the size of your after market wheels and tires. Compare sizes and offsets

For what you can sell those 22s for, you could by some nice 18s and good off road tires, and then next time the tires won't cost you the price of a small house to replace.

Personally I run Procomp XTerrains, but I need a more serious off road tire. If the 20" X 40" tires run $2750 just for the set of Xterrains at that size, so I can't imagine what they would cost if they even made 22s...

Of course, my initials aren't ATM either...Things could be different on your side of the tracks...

Yes the Procomps Xterrains I ran on my Expedition couple years ago. I don't think they make 22" in those.
When I purchased the 22s when the truck was new, they didn't offer the 22 mud tire, so its not about the cash here. It's all about the look :excited:
I priced them out with my tire guy. He can have me out the door driving on them for $2100. Seems fair to me.
