Just curious. Does anybody have a Wabsto engine heater fitted?. I'm looking to get one for my 99 H1 wagon. At the moment I have the standard plug in block heater and remote start system. While it may stop the system from freezing and lube the engine before I put any load on it, it still takes some time to warm up the engine, and the cab is still freezing cold.

If anybody has any info on this system please share

Are you talking about the ones fitted to the coolant lines? I thought about one of those, but my mechanic told me that they are junk. I know those things get hotter then **** though, like the intructions say DONT plug it in while its not hooked up. :D

This system does not require any pluging in. it becomes part of the heating system, and runs using a small amount of diesel and battery power
I've included there link if your interested. there very big in europe as most european conteries it is illegal to run your vehicle with out you being in it. it also stops you cold starting as the engine is heated up. and can also suppliment the cab heating. which in this weather can be a bonus
