I got everything bolted onto the H2 just fine (at least I think I did everything right...it looked right), but I couldn't get the black plastic grill to snap back into place. Part of the brush guard bracket (where the 2 screws go into the H2) keeps me from getting close to the holes for the clips to snap.

What am I doing wrong? I'm not good at doing installs myself, so I may just be doing something wrong. Maybe someone can tell me where I can find the proper "Hummer installation guide" that would come with the guard?

Thanks!

Check out this link. Mark it with a pencil, then saw out.

Thanks! I tried doing a "seach" on this topic, but this thread didn't come up. It's much appreciated!!!

I had the same problem, but was easily remedied by cutting out (or using a dremel tool) that portion of the grill which got in the way. Took less than 15 minutes with my dremel tool to modify. Good luck.

There is a different lower grill sold threw your H2 dealer that is moulded without the sides on it. Have your local dealer check it out if you don't want to do any cutting. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif BIG-C

Yeah...but isn't it like $120? I don't mind spending $, but I'd much rather put $120 toward the Real Wheels Air Horn. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I was quoted $140.00.

Just cut it. It only takes a second. I had to do it too and there is not problem with it. Piece of cake.
