I wonder what the tree did to piss off enough to try and chop it down with his car.

It was a tree. There's no speed indicated. Could have been above 100MPH. Speed kills.
I showed these to someone else, and they thought the Audi did great. I said I'd at least hope if I hit a tree at 90MPH in the H2 on the drivers side(way above what I do anyway), maybe I'd be killed, but I think it would remain intact and protect the passengers and not leave them strewn out across the highway. My passengers are my most valuable cargo.

My passengers are my most valuable cargo.
What if you were also transporting a plasma tv at the same time, would your passengers still be your most valuable cargo?

The parts of the Audi that DIDN'T hit the tree did pretty well.:OWNED:

I bet thats his charger that he had plugged in. I wouldn't doubt it had something to do with the accident---dialing????

Anyways, for those that missed it, here's the story:
"What you see is what you get, i.e. there was no cutting of the vehicle (http://www.autospies.com/news/OUCH-Audi-RS6-A-Wet-Road-Speeds-Over-100-mph-And-Trees-Just-Don-t-Mix-13070#) prior to the pictures being taken. It is my brother-in-law that you see holding the mobile phone, he honestly doesn't know the speed that he was going at but wasn't near as fast as he has done in the past on that particular part of the road.
Although the road was completely dry he said that it felt he was on ice and the car (http://www.autospies.com/news/OUCH-Audi-RS6-A-Wet-Road-Speeds-Over-100-mph-And-Trees-Just-Don-t-Mix-13070#) just careened into the tree. He actually called the emergency services and climbed out of the car by himself, he spent only a couple of hours in hospital, apart from a few minor scratches he got a bandage around his little finger, I told him if he's not already religious he should take it up ASAP!
The car WAS a pristine RS6 ABT, I was supposed to pick it up that very day to borrow it from him for a week as I've always wanted to try out the ABT version. He really should have simply told me that he didn't want me to drive his car I'm so happy he is alive and all in one piece."
