My speedometer does the same thing. I can cycle the ignition switch a couple of time and sometimes it will reset itself. It is a common problem on these trucks!

I had mine replaced under warranty but there was a guy selling new clusters for hummers on ebay. He would repair yours if you send it to him or a core swap. He had quoted me 175.00 to rebuild mine with all new moters etc........

well i did some research and i found that it was just a bad step motor for the needle and i found a motor online for 10 bucks.. and is pretty easy to replace.. i was afraid i was gonna have to take it to the dealer and pay 600 bucks... 10 bucks is alote better plus i go a few extra motors incase the others go bad.

i got the motor replaced works great.. easy 10 dollar repair... but i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for recalibrating the needles on the gauges...? i think i got them pretty close .. but i was just wondering if anyone had any experience with doing this.
thanks !
