Been up to my eyeballs trying to get my wife and my bike ready for summer.

Amy's bike was a stock '05 Sportster 883. Some chrome but she wanted it pink... :o (still need to get a white seat on it)

This was mine....

First came the fat tire kit... I shortened the fender below (after it was already painted to match the bike... )

Too short, looked stupid from the side...

So I lengthened it...

Bought this tank...

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f279/orangecrush03/Nightrain/06STANK.jpg

Had to fill it in with weld, couldn't use bondo because of the type of paintjob I was doing... (that took forever)

Decided I didn't like it... started over again by buying another tank. :(

Ground the paint off all the metal parts.....powdercoated it in clear and put 7 coats of candy on it.

Here's the rear fender.

Masked off the flames, sprayed silver base and candied over everything...

Here's the finished product.

Nice. Just how big is that back tire?

Nice. Just how big is that back tire?

It's only a 240... I like the looks of wider tires but it makes it unpractical to ride around.

Nothing better than a yuppie trying to live the biker lifestyle. :giggling:

Do you got a cupholder for your Starbucks cup? :OWNED:

First, if I truly were a yuppie or a rub, I'd have paid someone to do the work.

Second, have you ever had a starbucks coffee?? 'Cause if so, you're closer than I... I've never even stepped foot into a starbucks....
