Here's who I know. Please update the list. Once we finalize the list we can share cell numbers, etc in a PM. Please don't be offended if I lost you off the list.

WOW- i guess Shaggy really wasn't going this time.

Drty Ken CP and Dennis are all working on a secret project and won;t be able to attend this event. They will be missed...but no forgotten!

I've already been instructed to pee on Adams bumper by a couple of them.

I will say "I'M SORRY" now for when my dog Boddie peeeeeees on your dogs. Cooper is used to it by now and enjoys this. I think it's becasue he gets to match his Dad's HUMMER that way.

Man I hope if my front diff does go, the new cast iron one is available by that time. Maybe we could get the new one, minus the warranty value of the old one.

Much better to get it fixed now than to drive all the way out, wheel with it, and attempt to drive it home again. Good thing you had them look at it now.

Good news here too. My service advisor called, said they did the leakage test (at my request without any codes) and on an acceptable range of 0-25% mine was at a 3% "like a new engine" I was told.:jump:

Kudos to Kachina Hummer (Scottsdale Arizona). They have really stepped up thier customer service. I am simply amazed by the service I have recieved this visit as opposed to the service I recieved in the past. It all came down to a horrible employee, my previous service advisor (who was fired). Did I tell you guys that he gave me a speach on how much he hated the H3. Yeah on my first service visit, that is how he greated me. That loser was :OWNED: by customer satisfaction forms. Thank goodness GM does that.:dancingbanana:

Ok, Neo and all you vette fans, my father-in law says there is one year during Corvette production that they did not make any... $100 bucks riding on this... I don't agree with him... so what's this story???

Tis true. I had an 84 and we got very impatient waiting for it. There was no 83 Vette.

I was still in High School when that came out. It had the "Cross Fire Injection". The auto mags referred to the new Vette as "The King of the Hill" due to the return of engine power after the power robbing emissions of the late seventies and early eighties.

I've had a couple vettes since then and still love them. I don't know how this vette tangent got started either but, since Neo has a room devoted to them, the 3 owners are probably gonna end up talking vettes again. :)

Weather looks great Neo, keep it up!

7 days & counting.

Here's my wishlist of trails for the first few days: (I've realized I was talking out my a$$, there'll be no GS for me...I gotta be able to make it home on a schedule)

SUN: Klondike Bluffs/Tower Arch
MON: Fins & Things/Hells Revenge
TUES: Top of the World/Rose Garden Hill

We've got all these mapped out on the GPS, but it would be nice if somebody'd driven it before & they were with us.

Are you saying you want to run both trails listed each day, or one or the other? Like Tim said, not likely you'll be able to to F&T and Hell's in one day. And I'd prefer either of those to any of the other trails you've listed. F&T is rated difficult, but its really more moderate. Klondike is kinda boring as far as the trail. But if you go all the way into Arches NP, then its worth it. TotW sounds interesting, but honestly there are great views on almost all the trails. Especially ones that run along rims like Seven Mile or Porcupine, and those trails offer more challenges. Just my 2?. :)

If time allowed, I'd like to run both trails I listed for each day, but that may be a bigger bite than time allows. F&T and Hells are big on my list, I wanna run one of them. Klondike into Arches NP is for an easy Easter sightseeing ride with the whole family. TotW & RGH is right near where I'm dropping my wife off for a day at the spa on Tuesday, would make for an easy pickup later....or are there rental cars in Moab?

Run Fins n Things first. ALthough route finding is more difficult, this trail allows you pleanty of opps. to get off the trail at any time. It runs back and forth across Sand Flats Road.

Hell's is one of the best trails (IMO) in moab. You will need some experience before just heading out on that trail. Fins N Things will do that for you. You'll want to take most of a day on Hell's. THere's scenic overlooks, optional stuff to do, and than you'll more than likely have others with you that will take up mroe time for pics/ vid.

Not to steep on any toes, but I ran Fins and Hells in one day, on my first trip to Moab, by myself. Hells got hard when the sun started to set and I couldn't see the trail markers. It was still day light when I got off the trial, but the shadows the setting sun created really made it hard. I wouldn't want to do that again.

Yep. The upgrades and time frame is what's holding us up. I wouldn't get to Moab until Thursday. It;s not worth it to me to only have two days there.

Talked with Bebe today!!! Very cool chic by the way.

I am going to leave 1am Saturday morning and drive straight to Neo's casa to drop off some gear. Then I will be driving the White Rim Trail to catch up to Bebe and crew. If there is anyone else that would like to roll with me please let me know. We will arrive in in Moab around 4-5pm by my calculations and we will hit the trail as soon as possible. We should have plenty of water for anyone that comes.
Should be interesting, I am glad I have DVD player in the headrests for the kids.

Corey,
You're a good wheeler and all. BUT.....you REALLY need to work on your pike recognition skills.

I am tuning the MTB tomorrow. I got my new CB installed yesterday. I spent two days reading about grounding, multimeters, SWRs. etc. I am now more of an expert than Tower. :D New Antenna kicks butt too (Wilson FGT 4). I will no longer be the whisper dude on the CB. :excited: I also put a new one in my Burb too. Oh wait, I forgot, that cost me some money so I can't go to Moab. (hint: There is a pike recognition drill in this paragraph).

That sucks Tim, hope the damage wasn't too extensive. I take it you washing machine is on an upper floor.... we install drain pans under main floor and higher washing machines for that reason, far cheaper in the long run.

Looks like no White Rim for me this trip, I'll be arriving mid-afternoon Sat and will be pretty wiped out from drive from Michigan. Who's doing what on Sunday, or is that still to be determined??? First time out there some Cris B and I will be looking for recommendation and experienced drivers to show us the ropes, if you don't mind. Most of our wheelin' in Mich is on sand and mud, terrain can get steep and opff camber but still mostly dirt.

Cris mentioned Klondike Bluffs for Sunday. That would be an easy trail. It has a mix of sand/dirt/slickrock. And you can take it into Arches NP and do some sightseeing.

Or run Fins & Things. It's a great warm up trail, not too difficult, and shouldn't require any spotting. And Baby Lion's Back and Potato Salad Hill are nearby to play around on. :D

Holy Jed Clampett!!! Where's Granny's rocking chair?:jump:
You've got enough sh*t for 7 people.

LMFAO:jump: It was a frickin' sail across the plains, too!

Takes that much for the ski trip at Breck on top of Moab, can't believe I got it all to fit.

Made it to Denver today, SR1355 kept on rollin, he's heading your way Neo! Said to drop you a note, he's probably pulling into your place about midnight tonight, if he makes it (I can't drive 24 hrs, don't know how he can!)

Picking my wife up at Denver airport tomorrow, she had no interest in the thousand miles between home & here. Be in Moab tomorrow eve!:excited:

Here's me & SR1355 on a pit stop in central CO, got some great looks today on the road, something like "WTF are they all loaded up for?"

Check out Paul's rear rack design on the black H3! Lots of room, very strong, well made.

westhillsat, what time you leaving Denver area? I can't get on the road to Moab 'till my wife's plane comes in, around 1:30 or 2pm, wanna convoy?
