Picked up a Cub Cadet Zforce 50 for the yard. It was delivered last night and I got to play some with it. These zero turn mowers flat cut some grass. It was real nice to be able to trim around all the trees and other items with such ease. Still have to get used to the handles though, the thing turns so quickly it would be easy to get into a ditch or mow something over with a blink of an eye. Maybe we won't have to spend so much time this summer mowing and can spend more time enjoying the peace of the country. Here is a pic of what we got.

I was thinking about getting one of those, how do you like it? I was told the most difficult thing to learn is how to drive straight.

Straight is not that hard... but it does take some getting used to. I will know more after a few more runs with it. I did find that its easier to go straight if you keep looking forward and not side to side for some reason. I guess you had a tendency to move your hands where you look.

I've had a DIXIE CHOPPER ZERO TURN for over a year.

I cant drive those Z turn tractors. I'd much rather have 4 wheel steer on a normal rider.

Nice, but wheres the beer holder????:D Looks like both hands need to be constantly on the controls. Unless you can get a foot up there to assist;)

Its got a beer holder built into the side. I don't know how you would be able to drink while in motion though. Guess it would have to be shotgun beers during quick breaks. Then you would have to really work to keep it straight. Anyway its a nice machine and cuts well. As far as a winch mount I may have to look into that, if I end up putting it into a ditch a winch would come in handy. Do you think a Warn 9000 remote would handle the load???? lol
