VIRGINIA BEACH - A man accused of killing two high school students Friday night in a car crash has a record of alcohol-related convictions in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach.

Alfredo Ramos, charged with manslaughter in the deaths of Allison Kunhardt, 17, and Tessa Tranchant, 16, was convicted this year of DUI in Chesapeake and of public intoxication in Virginia Beach.

I hear ya Ken, Every time I hear or Read about some illegal getting away with a crime or worse. IT FRUCKING PISSES ME OFF! That fruck should be hung, shot or whatever needs to be done. BUT NOT SENT BACK HOME UNLESS IN A FRUCKING BODY BAG! I am so F'n over them all. Recently here in FL a group that protects the rights of ILLEGALS, is demanding thet the police stop turning them over to INS after they call for help using 911 or if they commit a simple crime. WHAT??? WTF! I will try and find that story and post it.

Get this:
His 25-year-old brother, who lives in Norfolk, also is here illegally and asked not to be identified because of his immigration status. He said he talked to his brother by phone Friday before the accident and, after learning he had been drinking, warned Ramos not to drive.

Afterward, his brother told him he had no memory of the crash. He learned from authorities that he had killed two people, his brother said.

Ramos, who was born in Mexico of Guatemalan parents, has been in the United States for about seven years.Beach juries don't have much in the way of patience with this sort of thing.

It simply makes the offender more evil. As in, if they're were deported like they should have been, this wouldn't have happened.


Perhaps some day we'll see a VAT. That would elminate the hassle of taxes, and would also force anyone living in this country to have to pay their share of taxes. Has negatives such as buy more, pay more. But it encourages saving, which is something that suffers in the US.

Sad story, and one that should encourage parents to make sure their children:
1. Wear seat belts
2. Drive defensively

Also, if parents have the cash, they should buy their children the heaviest, safest car they can afford. It's the other driver you have to worry about. A fcuking 1994 Plymouth is not a good choice. Especially when you're killed by a 2-door Mistubishi that rear ends you... Probably some deathbox like a Duster.

And this just comes back to my biggest annoyance: driving intoxicated. So many people do it. It's just stupid. I refuse to drive after even half a glass of something. I only drink if I'm at home and am not going anywhere.

Sucks, but being illegal is a minor thing here. Anyone can drive drunk, and they do. Not to discount that if he was not here, it would not have happened, but the anger should be towards drunk driving laws, the punishments and how well your local officials setup roadblocks and routine patrols in areas. One are we should not skimp in is police presence. Dont let your anger vent in the wrong direction, your not solving immigration, you can have a hand in local enforcement. Start small, start at home. it just shows our lame azz officials that do nothing about illegals , make others pay the price . sanctuary cities etc etc .
if this guy had been deported the first time he had a run in with the law , and our borders were secure enough that he couldant just walk back in , would he of still killed two innocent kids in our country ????

Alfredo Ramos ? an illegal immigrant accused of killing two teens in a car crash Friday ? had previous convictions in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake, but his crimes weren?t serious enough to lead to deportation.

Local judges do not routinely inquire about the immigration status of a person charged with misdemeanors, as Ramos had been, said John Gardner, a Virginia Beach immigration attorney.The citizens of the 5 local cities are going nuts over this and are demanding the names of the judges who let this POS go without being turned over to INS.

Something similar happened a few years ago that led to tougher STATE laws when a Beach man with prior DUI convictions killed a teen by plowing over his car. That man is now serving life and he was not an illegal alien.

Update:
Father files $10mil suit against restaurant that served the illegal immigrant. It turns out he showed up drunk at a Mexican restaurant and was served alcohol for three hours. Obviously, he didn't/couldn't produce ID verifying his age.
