... So my old man went ahead and bought himself the Cooper S from a gentleman in CT. (We bought it used, its an '05. VT doesn't have a Mini dealer.) We went down on Saturday and drove it home to VT.

It is actually suprisingly roomy inside, and its nicely appointed. This particular car has leather, in-dash NAV, and a 6spd tranny. It was very fun to drive, and is quite peppy, to say the least. I'm a pretty lucky kid to get to drive this.

While its no H2 (my dream ride), I can't say I hate the little guy...:o
I think this is going to be the start of a beautiful relationship!:giggling: -But don't worry, I'll always be a HUMMER guy!!

Heres a pic from when it was still a CT-registered car, along with the interior:

And here I was, hoping my own HUMMER community would still accept me as one of their own...:(

Congrats, that will serve you well through college and it shows you've got your priorities set right. A college campus is no place for an H2, they're rife with first time activist with an axe to grind, parking usually sucks, and besides the money you save on gas can fund other important liquids. :)

We got too many of those little roadrats in Belgium !! I prefer BIG rides !! When I drive next to one in the Hummer, the driver of that little car is freakin' scared !! :jump:

nice glad your having fun with that. We had two as ive said before and im upset we got rid of them the day after my dad sold it he went to get it back, but they already sold it earlier that day because it was that limited edition one! wish he'd have kept it not instead of his current car but in addition too. Its okay though cause now they just came out with the new body like last month so im trying to convince him to get another one. as an extra car to knock around.

Yeah, I know the new body style came out all ready, but I like ours just the same! Red on black is very sharp. :dancingbanana:

Yeah so are coffins which you'll need if you get rear ended by a H2

CONGRATS on your getting your mini! As someone said above, it'll serve you well in college. Personally, I think you're going to love it. There will still be H2's when you graduate college and you'll appreciate one even more. ;)

Congrats. The mini will be a lot better on campus. And when you do get your H2 you can put down the rear seat and have a rolling garage for the mini.:giggling:
