Please name a few good restaurants with a view of the lake. We'll be there soon and want to eat at good places.

We'll be staying right downtown.

Also, how about some good sites to see.

I've touched MJ's statue.

It's windy and it smells there.

Hope that helps Ken.:jump:

Johnny rockets, and that chucky cheese place that is for adults only. :jump: Other then that I do not know, you would have to make the two hour drive north to my neck of the woods so that I can take you to resutrants I have actually been to. I'll ask some people for you and let you know. As far as sights, everybody goes to Navy pier, may as well hit up Michigan ave too, bring out the no limit credit card for that one, and a leash for the wifey.

I'll have one day by myself until around 5pm, so I can scope things out.

RYD, I guess you haven't been to Chicago in a while.:giggling:

You better pipe down or I'll drag you to Ofrah.;) (totally kidding)

I'm there for a seminar, but I will have a few evenings, an afternoon and a morning to check stuff out. I want to see the Art Institute (http://www.artic.edu/aic/index.php) and ride a ferry to sight see.

Thank you for the suggestions.:)

best titi bar would be the admiral theater, its a dry bar, but its still good. Other places have ugos dancing.

Anyways, make sure you check out all the museums at the museum campus and go to navy peer, go to the sears skydeck and the hancock observatory. Also check if theres a ball game at sox or wrigley, that may be fun. If its a good day (temp) take a cruise trip, you can get a great view of the skyline, its awsome, especially at night. and if you got some extra time take a plane ride from midway, then the skyline is that much better. Also if its a good day, and you got time to waste take a walk along the shore and around grant park and milenium park. Check out the bean and the towers, donno if the towers are on yet. Also check out bukingham fountain. Theres alot of other fun stuff you can do. If your into clubing theres some pretty good places in the loop, but some better outside the city. Check out the hard rock cafe it a nice place to chill, hehe.

You wont really find any good restaraunts with a view of the lake since theres no good restaraunts on the shore (navy peer but not good). One palce that i have been to is Wave, its right at the lake across from navy peer ont eh other side of lake shore drive, pretty good food/selection and the atmosphere is also good, you might have to make reservations ahead of time thou. If your interested i check to see what the number was. Most good places are in the loop and very few of them are high up. I dont remember the name of it, but theres a great stakehouse right in the loop, around upper wacker and state.

Eat here...95th floor of the Hancock Building...It's very close to the lake, and has an great view of the rest of downtown also.

The Shedd Aquarium is also pretty nice and is close.

And if you're going to the aquarium the Adler Planetarium is about a 3/4 mile walk from it
