I hate them. I love the looks, but the double sided tape sucks. Anyone have any other, or better vesions that were built than the factory POS...:lame:

:iagree: My factory covers SUCKED! If you want to keep them i think you can carefully drill holes in them and screw them into the places were the tape was supposed to secure them. Personally, I sold my factory guards and bought the defenderworks product instead. I installed them just like the factory guards were because they are so much sturdier that I felt I didn't need to drill them.

Are you cleaning the surface before applying the double back tape? Also, there may be some one trying to rip them off. Price is an issue with Real Wheels. I live 8 miles from their store and I got some of their products thru other dealers in CA & NH for 20 & 30 % off including shipping. The "fisherman"

Yeah, I prepped with alchohol... But they just dont feel tough.. On hit with a branch could move them, and then I close the gate on one... that would suck:rant:

I was considering getting some of the guards on down the road, however I didn't know that they were only held on with 3M tape...WTF!

Thats what I used... It seemed OK on the bottom, but the top would come unstuck on each side.....

They are off the truck and going up for sale....

Mine say hummer on the bottom and use the two light bolts to hold one side, and double sided tape to hold the other...
