I have an 04 h2 and am purchasing a 25ft 4300lbs travel trailer. Does anyone do this and what modifications would you guys reccomend? I am assuming a tranny cooler would be a good idea. Are any models better than other ones?

I think tranny cooler is standard equipment. Your hitch receiver was on right? If so hook on and drag it everywhere. regards the rebel

yes the truck had a hitch and wiring. I am getting the electric brakes tomorrow. That's great if i don't have to do anything else though.

electric brakes good idea, I tow a 5500 boat with no problems with surge brakes.

I tow all the time. The only issue I had was the trans heats up to much. I put a external trans cooler in an the trans doens't go up over 160 now. I would strongely suggest this. Here is the one I used http://www.bulkpart.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=2&Product_Code=4739-1&Category_Code=tru-cool-hd&Product_Count=4

Here is a problem which accured http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23002&highlight=trans+cooler- which caused me to swap to an external cooler. Many others have done the same. Just do a search.
