This has nothing to do with Hummers. I think you are padding. I'm the expert around here and that's my take on it.

Umm...ANY diesel can run off vegie oil....doesnt need to be modified.

You can make bio-diesel by cleaning old fryer oil through a simple process. I have SEEN this done in person and seen it put into a diesel pickup (mine) and driven the truck. Runs fine.\...actually seemed to run better!

the original engine (by Rudolph Diesel -- who also invented a solar powered engine) was invented in 1892 and ran on either peanut or soybean oil, can't remember which one. His body was found in the English Channel, in his pocket was a drawing of a hummer.
