Anyone know where I can get those thin plastic strips to stick along the ribs on the H2 roof. You know, so I can lay something on the roof and it protects and keeps stuff from sliding.

I went to a few auto stores around the area and everyone looks at be with a blank stare.

The Suburbans and Tahoes have those plastic strips on their roofs, so try to buy some through a Chevy or GMC parts dept.

Zazing,

Get the 1" ANTI-SLIP tape.

They use it for running boards on trucks. It's like kinda sand paper texture. Works great but only comes in black or grey.

Or try 3M Products. They have what you want. Really pricey though. Dennis

Good suggestions, thanks. The stores suck by me, nobody had that tape or any good substitutes. If you know of any online stores for this kind of thing let me know.

Try Home Depot or Lowe's. I bought the same anti slip tape for running boards on another truck.

Or you can check out body side moulding. Auto parts stores have it in rolls & sticks on. Its a thicker plastic/rubber.

Buy some low profile door molding. It comes in rolls and you can get it at stores that sell autobody supplies.

Zaz,
I just got off the phone with my favorite Chevy dealer (Wilsonville Chevy).
The part number for the strips is:
#15766436 They're $10.64/ea from the dealer, so you'll probably get a better price on GMPartsDirect.com.
