NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- A 34-year-old Baytown woman died during the weekend after being impaled by a tree limb during a storm, according to the Department of Public Safety.
Dora Alicia Cistillo was killed Sunday when the limb fell through the windshield of her sport utility vehicle.
Her boyfriend and his three children were also inside in the Hummer H-3 when the incident happened but were not injured.
A trooper said the limb crashed through the windshield as Cistillo drove south on Farm to Market Road 226 near the Etoile area.
Cistillo was taken to a Lufkin hospital, where she died.
