Formulas are best made boats in the industry bar none. I've crossed Lake Erie in 9 foot waves or more with a 233 Formula for 20 years and it is still as solid as the day I bought it. I've seen Wellcrafts with screws pounded out everywhere on same trips. And I've seen thundercraft with hull cracks and Novas with cracks all around engines. Just my 2 cents. The Rebel

Looks like a great deal and nice boat. Is that what you're looking for or a suggestion for me or both?

I was looking for you, but it is a great deal and an great boat. I am looking at something like it myself. I am looking for a lil bit more power. But that is such a nice boat that I would consider it.

I just want a CC that could be taken in the Bay to fish, or just behind the house to ski or board behind. NO cloth seats or anything like that which would require extra cleaning. Just a quick hose down is all I want to deal with.

Something like this:

Ken,
look around for a good used hull for cheap and add the outboard yourself. I am not sure about where you live, but here boats like what you want are everywhere and just sitting in ppl's yards.

:beerchug:They're a dime-a-dozen around here, too.

This is what my parents have, not a speeder, but it's hit 23 knots. I was on it at 21 knots.

That looks cool.

K9 -- Ever come across a similar recreation of the q-boat for sale? I think that would make for an awesome pwc and I want one. Someone has to have designed their own by now...

Ken, I thought maybe the first one was your parents, But I like thiers much better. The Cat handles much better and the appearance draws more attention to it. Are they still sailing or have they returned back yet?
I have only been on Morgans and all I know about sailing is that it is harder than it looks. And though I like the speed and sound of a Performance boat, nothing beats the solitude of a Sail.

And D, that lil boat scars the sh!t out of me... :D

Don't be afraid, it's your friend! Keep an eye out for one though, I want it! I think the owner of the original q-boat is in IL and probably won't sell it... but I'd imagine someone has made something similar.

Now this watercraft is really the ****, but I already checked... they won't sell it. :crying:
