You can actually go to Microsoft and install the cathedral photosynth on your computer. Very wow & amazingly fast. I like the 'show camera' button. Now imagine the pr0n possibilities... :D

One commenter wrote about the next-best-thing-to-being-there experiences for the common people, so as to share the uncommon experiences of Everest climbers, deep sea divers, cosmonauts, etc. And how this is truly a sum-greater-than-parts product, where over time, the content & level of details can only IMPROVE.
Consider also, over time, TIME would probably be the 4th dimension (i.e, difference in how Notre Dame looks today compared to how it would look in 2107, etc.)
Would add a whole new experience to family photo albums tracking baby to old age phots / a whole new meaning to autobiographies spanning the ENTIRE life accomplishments, projects, etc.
Seemed to me much more than photo catalog -- more an innovative interface at looking at data (zoom at enough detail, click links to youtube videos, files, etc.).
How easy would it be to use a Hummer repair manual if you can just 'start' at photo of your car, then zoom in to detailed report/repair how-to to any parts, then of course, live link to part catalog, parts supplier, forum discussion parts... etc..
THEN, imagine the Pr0n possibilities... :D
