I come on this site day-to-day to look for topics of interest regarding the ownership of my HUMMER; however, I find mostly immature garbage. Granted, most of you are posting this garbage in the "General Off Topic" or similar forum. This is a forum about the HUMMER brand of vehicles. Maybe we could all benefit more from inputs on that subject.
If you don't know anything about a particular topic, pulling facts and figures out of the air helps no one, and may even cause problems. If you are going to copy something from the Internet as if it is something you said -- don't. Quote the source, so the original author can receive their due credit, and the "fact" can be more closely verified.
Try to be respectful to your fellow forum members, females, gays, etc. For example, your avatar. The forum rules you agreed to when joining state -- "By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws."
I am proud to be a HUMMER owner. Please make me proud to be a part of this community of helpful, respectful, and knowledgeable HUMMER owners.
I wish you all a safe and happy Labor Day.

Shut it, Fruitcup.
1. By your username you own the H2 and are a (non-commercial) co-pilot. I see being a co-pilot pays you too much and doesn't require you to speak articulately to aircraft passengers.
2. Thank you for proving that this forum community is comprised of some members without much to offer. At least, with my reply I can teach you how to spell fruit cup.
3. I had expected the first garbage response to have come from RYD. I guess he must still be asleep. Oops, he just replied. Let me see if he said anything meaningful and useful to our HUMMER community.

As usual, RYD did not have anything to say of use to the forum members. Maybe I should post a picture of my vehicles, so he can say "nice ride" (then it would at least be HUMMER related).

Take a moment to proof-read your post. Some of you have issues with grammar and spelling. If youR teachers failed you in the past, use a tool such as Firefox. It has an automatic spell-checker that will help you with your posts as you type them. If you see an error, use the forum's edit feature and correct it. (Look I edited this post to add an "emoticon".)

Regardless of whether I own or don't own a HUMMER is deviating from the main point of this thread. If you need to make a post, try to offer something useful to the other members. You, RYD, are probably the most notorious on this site for having nothing beneficial to offer us. Maybe the folks on the AMC Gremlin forum would appreciate a person of your education and insightful posting abilities.
... however, I find mostly immature garbage. Granted, most of you are posting this garbage in the "General Off Topic" or similar forum. That's where it belongs. Don't read it. Agriv8r maybe you should STFU and GFY. No wonder you don't live in Wiltshire any longer. The British knew they had a dumb ass who could even spell colour correctly.
Use appropriate punctuation, such as a periods, exclamation points, or question marks at the end of complete sentences. Your overuse of multiple periods is not helping your point or readability of your posts. If you want to learn about the eclipse have your wife teach you as I am sure she had a proper education.
Why spend so much time replying? Firefox let you down?

For example, your aviator. The forum rules you agreed to when joining state -- Yes Hucky, he did call an avatar an aviator.
Firefox can help with the spelling, but not choose the word.

You really don't want to waste your time correcting spelling on your day off. I am simply saying we are all here to help each about HUMMER vehicles and not waste our time reading stupid posts from some fool sitting in a hotel room.
Lets help each other and the HUMMER brand. Lets not help fuel the anti-HUMMER folks.
I was thinking about changing my avatar to something less offensive. Like that of a mountainbike, but I really like the female avatars. Does onyone else like them?
Maybe I'll change it to a less offensive one such as this one:

Shouldn't you be cruising along the ocean front or Virgina Beach Blvd. You really don't want to waste your time correcting spelling on your day off. Now if I was in the military stationed overseas, like Germany, it'd be a different story. I wouldn't have time to complain about the grammar of fellow board members.
But I'm not, so I can.

alright, my posts are always way off with grammar, may i add i have an a in english. why are my posts so off with grammar and spelling then, becuase i use this site as a place for leisure to enjoy talking about things with other hummer owners who have similar intrests, this isny a classroom. also, all the editing and stuff takes sooooo much time, when im not getting graded on how well put together my post is. also, hence the reason why we have an off topic section to talk about random irrelevant off topic things, if you dont wnat to talk about anything else than hummer stay of this area of the site. also this site is for information and lots of great information, but also the personality and friendlyness of this site is unsurpassable, every one of us adds some finece (defintly spelt that wrong) and spice to the site. this site not only has information, but all of us, give it a personality also, and an awsome one at that.
