Thermo Wrapping Hedders???
Good idea or waste of time?

I just installed a set of eldelbrock headers and the paper work said if you rap them you will void the warranty. I dont know why.
I wrapped a set of headers on a race car to keep the heat in the pipes, not in the engine compartment.
The heat could cause the welds of the headers to fail, thus voiding your warranty.

I dont care about the warranty bought these used from Tomp. So is wrapping them a good or bad idea?

So wrapping over the ceramic coating is a no go?

best way to go is send them to Jet Hot coatings and have them cermic coated inside and out .
