Might try the H3 to save some MPG"s! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif You won't save any, any other way! I've run the Extreme flow for awhile but went back to stock (I do like the Exhaust though!). No change in performance--imo! Save your bucks! It ain't broke, Don't fix it! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

The Volant intake system is THE BEST http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

But you WON'T save any MPG's as I found that my truck was SO RESPONSIVE that I now DRIVE IT LIKE I STOLE IT http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

well ****, that intake system cost like 600 bucks man. how can K&N state that their systems save gas when they dont? I have a Banks exhaust system already and it sounds and drives like a bad ass but I want more. I had a cold air kit on my wrangler and it helped a little so i figured this might do the same, no?

As an example... how these sort of add-ons/upgrades dont always improve mpg.

Added Exhaust and intake mpg went down by 1mpg (Edelbrock Headers, Corsa Exhaust, Airaid cold intake)

Next added Hypertech program with 87 octane program. Mileage dropped .5 mpg

Added throttle body spacer.. another .5 mpg drop.

Removed Hypertech program, throttle body spacer.. Installed Magnacharger... Mileage dropped another 1 mpg.

Long story, but mileage is now at 10-11mpg depending on how deep my foot is in it.. I think the added HP and exhaust tone etc makes it more fun to rip out of stop lights and smoke those imports http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif .... Could be the cause of the lower MPG... http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

You're definitely in over your head. Sell now and buy a Prius.

If I sold now, the only thing id get would be an F650 or an H1!
DEWI: would you say that the thorttle body made a noticable difference? How do you like the airraid intake?

I did notice a difference with the throttle body spacer.. 'seat of the pants' felt like more low end power and a broader midrange powerband. The Airaid intake is nice, but did not see any MPG improvements... again, it is very hard to tell because when the mods go on, the foot seems to always hit the pedal more frequent and with more pressure... http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

performance upgrades = harder driving = less mpg.

No sense in doing upgrades if you ain't going to use it. Doing performance mods to all my other vehicles only made me drive them harder. Anyways didn't buy the HUMMER cause it was good on gas. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Have not sold it, but it is listed on ebay Here (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8032762757&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT)

I agree with GLBLWARMR on having not purchased the Hummer for MPG, but it is nice when you can squeeze a bit more out of it and improve the performance.. double bonus!! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif
