Here is my 2005 H2 with 20" Lexani's and Nitto Tera Grapplers. I've added some chrome...hope I didn't go overboard. It sure is fun customizing this beast.

Damn Nice! Looks better on the Burgundy than it did on my Pewter! I should have never sold my set! Damn! I'd love to get a set on my wife's Yellow H2 but I just spent a load on front and rear chrome factory brush guards. Where did you get those chrome side steps.
Your H2 looks HOT! Nice job!

Thanks kacyk for the compliments! I think the wheels say so much. I do like your yellow H2. I wanted yellow originally, but my wife insisted on red. I can only imagine what the Lexani's would look like on your yellow H2. The chrome side steps were already on when I picked it up from the dealer...no telling what they charged me for them. Have you thought about any sport exhausts?

On my Pewter I had the dealer install a Corsa Cat-Back system. It was loud and aggressive but I think we'll stick with stock this time. I think it was about a grand installed.
I did hear a H2 with a Borla and I loved the sound. It was more mellow and deep. My Corsa Sport sounded like a semi-truck. If I do eventually get one, I'll get a Borla because I like the smoother deep mellow tones. As for power or MPG, I can't really say.
BTW - any time you want to sell your side steps let me know :-)

BTW - You may already know this but GM leather get spider veins no matter what. However, I use Maguires leather wipes once a week, especially on the seat bolster of the two front seats to prevent premature wear.
The wipes are damn easy to use. It kept the leather in my 740i Sport clean and looking new. I grew up in Southern Cal so I know what that sun can do to an interior. My brother who owns two Mercedes and is an executive at Edmunds.com turned me on to the wipes.

I'm glad you told me about the Corsa...I like the deep sound, but I'm having a hard time convincing my wife. She's afraid that it's going to be "too loud!" Were you able to carry a conversation w/out distraction of noise? Also, do you recommend the dealer installing the system or should I just find a cheaper muffler shop to install?
Thanks for the tip on Maguires Leather wipes. I was not aware...but I will do it. Nothing's worse that black leather spider veins.

Up front you can easily carry on a conversation but it's loud nonetheless. Our kids, however, had a tough time hearing their portable DVD players. You might go test drive a new or used H2 with a Corsa. Or, there may be a forum member in your area with a cat-back that you can test drive.
Here's my two cents, if your wife already has reservations, just get a cool exhaust tip or even dual exhausts without changing the muffler. You'll have the look without the annoyance. Also, a tip cost only $40.00 and a dual pipe may set you back $150.00 with tips. Come to think of it, I may do the same as well.

That's actually a great idea! Who does that? The dealer? Or do I need to find a muffler shop? I think I'm going to do that, I want the twin-tip look....and I think this will make my wife happy too.
