I finally got around to removing the tire carrier this afternoon. Thanks BIG-C for the tow loops. I still need to get a lighted plate frame...

What's up with the wire? Was that for the plate?

You do NOT need a lighted plate. That thing is so bright I can't read the numbers anyway. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Hey, I really like the look of your neighbor's house. I bet they are really cool and you hang out alot together. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Ken,

I believe his "fun" neighbors live on the other side of him and I think Dan has a crush on the wife. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Looks great without the tire carrier!!!!!!!!!--who needs a spare anyway? I have a plug kit and an air compressor on board---for anything else there is AAA.

Oh yes, I LOVE my neighbors! *cough *******s cough* http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif Those are the folks who had to rip up their driveway to get it off my property. I can be a prick too. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif The one's on the other side seem to have calmed down a bit, but you never know. At least their kids get out of the road when they see me coming now. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The marks on the bumper, under the lights is dirt. Its actually ground up leaves. There is a tight "S" turn just before my street that is covered with leaves. Everyone driving over them has ground them into dust, and they stick to your car when it rains.

Yes, that is the wire that went to the plate light on the carrier. I need to get a lighted plate frame & hook the wire up.

Yes, I have a crush on the wife. The way she walks like a monkey is so hot! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Wanna sell your tire carrier?

Dan

I'm going to hang on to it for a little while, to be sure I'm going to keep the no-tire look. I'll let you know if I decide to get rid of it.

So, my wife tells me this evening that she and my 3 year old daughter were out today and they saw an SUT. My daughter has keen eye and can pick out Hummers on the road before I do. Anyway, they go by the SUT and my daughter asks "What is that ugly thing on the back tire?"

See Dan, even 3 year olds know you made the right move. My wife agreed that the "slick plastic with the tag in the middle looked stupid."

Its definitely much better! The only thing I miss is that the tire used to block the guy behind me with his misaligned headlight. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
