I was thinking about getting it for the sides of the H2. to protect the doors from more door dings?

Any ideas of how good this is?

I was actually looking at the same company for some. They had a 50% off clearance over christmas last year....

I looked at the hummer package and it only covered the front and the hood panels.

But no doors. You would think that would be the moneyshot.

Mondo,

Any Xpel dealer can custom cut for you on panels they don;t already have a pattern for. That's not to say that any Xpel dealer will do a good job in the installation department so you have to check them out personally. OTOH, our H2's are fairly easy to lay the film due to lack of aggressive curves.

If you intend to use this to prevent dings, the Xpel film will not do that, what it may do is to save you from scuffs on the paint or even scratches into the paint, but not dings caused by force.

Had that on the FX45 for almost 1 year due to its massive frontal area, only pain is that some of them bugs will leave a noticeable stain if not cleaned off shortly after the impact http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Have you thought about Line-X'ing the sides. Seriously. If I was offroad all the time, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I've LineX'ed (actually, Herculined) my rocker panels.

They survive a lot better off road. And when I do hit something that scrapes (literally) the Herculiner off, I just reapply and let it dry.

Works great!
