Where did you see that? Actualy GM discount or just the dealership you work at? I paid full price for my 06 and there were no incentives out there except $1000.00 to the dealer.

Gm Employee pricing is good on all 2006 H2's ,there is no longer $1000.00 dealer incentive

i wonder if they're ever going to take the employee price off of the 2005 and put normal rebates on so people who get GMS for real, can get both again! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Except on 2005 models (which still have the employee pricing)...and I know because I just sold a nice white 06 for that price http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

We got the notification right from GM...a dealership thing. It was released this morning. In our meeting we actually went over that the Tahoe and Escalade were on it but not H2s. Then we looked at the new memo from GM and Hummer H2s appeared on it. I'm not sure where you'd find it in writing, and as with any GM promotion like that, all dealers are not required to participate. Sewell in Dallas is, though.

I just left about 7K on the table. This pisses me off.

If it does, am I entitled to it?

So what incentives will be taking place on the remaining 2005's.

The SoCal dealers still have quite a few. I still want a white SUT and their are 7 of them within range of me. My local was offering $1000 GM cash + he said they would discount another $1000. Bringing the price of the base SUT to $45K.

2003 Escalade STILL for sale.

If I bought it without the Employee Pricing, is there an opportunity for me to get some $$ back since it's been less than 30 days?

HummerGuy, I scoured the internet and didn't see anything about the 2006 Emplyee pricing for Hummers. Will hey be announcing this to the public?

So if what I am reading is correct:
2005 + $1000 cash back
2006 same Employee Pricing but no cash back?

For $1000 dollars I would rather have the 2006....for the KBB resale alone.

That's why you're not seeing it in the media yet. They're still trying to pump out the '05s.

I can confirm GMS on '06s though.

I believe HummerGuy stated in another thread that the pricing on the '06 went up a bit, not down. Probably in part to cover the costs of the increased warranty.

So is it worth it to get an '06, or to wait till the last '05s are discounted even more?

Hearing today's news and seeing gas prices lately I don't see many of the Hummers I have been tracking moving very quickly?

I stopped in at my local Cadillac/Hummer dealer today to talk about trading in my 03 LUX. The sales person told me that the GM employee pricing definitly applies to 06 H2's. Works out to be about $ 7K off MSRP. Soon after that she went on to tell me that my trade in value with 40K miles is only $29K. That sucks!!!

Base price went up about 1500...so basically you need to decide whether you want the longer warranty for around 2500 (difference between identical 05 and 06 w/ current incentives/vehicle price)

What would you do? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
There is a white base SUT local here now for 45K. I think I can hold out for a bigger discount as they still have 10 '05's sitting around.

I think an '06 base is closer to 49K with the price increase.

They're the only ones w/ stock -- we get people looking for specific 05s all the time. At least in our area they're a hot commodity. I'd probably get the 06 -- to add the same warranty to a 2005 would probably be 3700 or something. The salesperson will want you to buy the 2005... http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I didn't know they made a base SUT.

What's on it? Wheat interior leather and what else?

RiverRacerX
08-31-2005, 08:30 PM
Base is wheat interior, no cross bars, no chrome door handles, mirror covers or side steps, no aluminum door sill plates, black inside door handle instead of the brushed aluminum look. For about 4K less.

Here in SoCal there are about 5-10 2005 SUT's still on the lots around me, and they are sitting right now. Especially since the Hurricane and recent gas prices.

Hummer Guy, how much would it be to add a 5yr/100K warranty to an "05 vs. an'06?

I drive alot of miles. $$

Note: The GM buypower site now lists the 2006 Employee Discount price!
