I've been seeing this one for the last year, but I'm one of the laziest bastards on earth so it only took me eleven months to actually get a pic.

There's actually a black one running around too. I know that my company is paying around $1500 per month to lease an Explorer and over $2250 to lease a Tahoe. Wonder how much the H2 is going for over here?

There is a security firm that uses armored H2s. They pulled up to the range I was running on the FOB and asked if they could shoot.

Doha sucks and I'm flying out of BIAP when I leave here (civilian side) JUST to avoid going through that human herding factory.

They actually shut Doha down (but they're using another hole down in Kuwait). Anyway, the whole country of Kuwait can kiss my ass - I am not going through there again. I'm flying from BIAP to Amman to Chicago to SA, where I'll promptly bust open a cold Shiner Bock.

That H2 isn't up-armored though - they're just using that as day to day transportation here. I think the contractor that is using the H2 is working with the Army Corps of Engineers.

BTW, if you were talking about Doha, Qatar, that place is nice. Camp Doha is an armpit.

I saw your post and wondered if you were here at Camp V.

I actually flew in here with some guys from the HNG. Of course, I'm a scummy civilian contractor http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif. I've been here for 11 months, and it's almost time for me to go!!!

I'm sure that makes the people of Jordan feel REALLY safe...

I may be crazy, but for some reason, the countries in this region just don't seem like they have their sh#t together when it comes to defending themselves.
