My washer fluid

My washer fluid that isn't supposed to freeze, is frozen. It has been in the teens and the last few days have been around 10 degrees. Today the wind chill is bringing it to -25. I don't know what to do it not supposed to warm up to around 30 degrees until later in the week.

Sounds like you have summer formula fluid. Might want to drain it and fill it with winter formula fluid.

tried the blow dryer. And the Fluid is rated to 15 below zero. They don't sell summer fluid around here. Guess I'm out of luck.

I use vodka in mine, never freezes.

I have never had washer fluid freeze. Of course, it does not get that cold here.

Just wondering, wouldn't the engine heat eventually thaw it for you?

I thought the same thing and I also have never had it freeze. It wasn't frozen in the resivior(sp). It was frozen in the lines and at the spout where it sprays out of. Some boiling water did the trick. I also went and got the Prestone on Klaus' suggestion. It works great and at $1.88 a bottle it's all I'm gonna use now.

It was well below zero here a week ago (now it's in the 60's again, but that's Denver) and I never had any problem with the wiper fluid freezing. Weird.

drouke mine would freeze every year it was cold like this, if you buy the prestone you wont have any problems.(unless your doin 80 mph)http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
