Just installed my new HID's. It took about 2 hours since it was my first time and I wanted everything perfect.

At night it is a definite difference from the factory ones. I did not notice any hot spots at all.

Attached are pics I just took in the daytime. I will try to get some pics for you at night and also the cut off against the wall for everyone to see.

This is with lights off.

Those look great!! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif But it makes the drivers look like .... dingy. I've seen them with black sides. Do these have chrome on the sides?

Don't you just love the light from the HIDs? It's the best!!!
Your light housings look like silicone breast implants though.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The light from them are awesome! This is the next best upgrade after a SUPER-CHARGER. Which I cannot afford (yet).

Oh that's why I like to wash my lights real good and thoroughly. Like the wax-on-wax-off motion. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Can't beat a nice pair of lights. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I had a few people inquiring about where I got these lights so I will post it here so everyone can see the info.

I don't know if I can put that information here so if I cannot please let me know and I will take it off and if anyone wants to know they can just PM me.

I got them from Ryan Wilson at www.predatormotorsports.com (http://www.predatormotorsports.com) I believed that he was the one in charge of the HID's cause he knew alot about HID headlight systems.

His phone number is 760-510-1298x205
email is : ryan@predatormotorsports.com

Here are the pics at night against my garage. This time I took it with a digital camera so the quality is much better than the other pics above.

That is sweet...did the price from Predator include the HID bulbs and Ballast? What temperature are those HID bulbs. And what kind of Bulb are u using in the DRL. That’s the set up am looking for. HID's and Yellow DRLs.

Thanks

The price did include the HID bulbs and ballasts. Just about everything I needed except the adapter from the original bulb to the new connecter which was an H4 connector.

No biggie, just got some spare wire to connect it myself cause I wanted to leave the original connectors on and not cut that plug and hook it up directly.

The bulbs I have for the DRLs is the Silverstars. I believe it was the 3156 or 3157. I saw it originally from someone in the forum and it sure looked nice so I copied him. I believed it was Timco in Denver.

Man, those lights look funky cold awkward. It makes it look like there is a set of eyes popping out from the front of the truck! The best set of HID's that I have seen in whichthe truck looks normal are the set NJ H2 has on his rig. No offense, but this is just my opinion. Night pics look decent and they definately give off a bunch of light!

JT. did you have to do any mods to the mounting hardware?
