Are you guys running a Bittorrent client?

Here's a quick primer:

A Bittorrent client is a free piece of software. It helps speed up the transfer of really big files.

You can download and install in about 2 minutes from http://www.bitlord.com

Once Bitlord is installed, then click on a weblink in my post. (The links are to the torrent files)

The file will come down and Bitlord will automatically start.

Open beer, wait for download to finish. The speed increases with time. It's a BIG file...

Let me know if you have questions/need help.

500K/second download now available!

In an act of EXTREME generousity, Kyle at http://www.hummercommunity.com has started hosting the low-res Paragon video file.

The download is very fast and does not require any Bittorrent client.

Charles,
Thanks for taking your time to do all the editing of the video. However, I think I will wait for a DVD, the method to play this link, to me, seems a little convoluted. I will PM you my address-
Joe

I think you picked the wrong forum to be releasing it as a torrent. Anyhoo, I will seed later tonight when I get home.

Yes, please seed tonight. Currently no one is seeding that I can connect to. It doesn't work that well when everyone shuts off their cittorrent client once they get their copy.
Thanks.

I wish I knew Ken. Things have been crazy all this year with business and the house. I'm hoping to be able to make it to the next trip at least for a day.

Right now the upload speed on the dvd is less then 1kb. WTF....

It should be doing better soon... For a while it was sucking some wind. Right now its turnign 30K/sec +

As more people join the torrent you'll see it pickup speed. It always starts slow. In the last hour 3 new people joined the torrent.

I'm burning hard copies of the DVD's tonight. Hopefully tomorrow the CD mailers I bought will come in...

Concerning sfox's frustration, do you have an avi or wmv version of it lying around? I'm pulling the DVD but unless we get more downloaders it looks like it'll be a full two days for me to get it. I can certainly reencode it once I get it, but since you've got the original video, it'd be better if you could.
