I have a 2005 hummer h2. I have been experiencing water leaking in through the garage door opener control pannel. The truck has been back to the dealership 4 times now. The first two times, they allegedly fixed the leak. Now the past two times, they claim they can's find the problem, yet I am still experiencing a water leak. I have spoken to the delaership, and also to the manufactor. Neither one has been helpfull as of now. Basically, they tell me i need to wait for an engineer to look at my truck. Until then, i must carry a rag, and dry all the water, and hope that nothing gets damaged any further. Does any one have any suggestions?

This is not a new problem....search the forum. What I have read indicates that leaks are fixable.

Did you check your roof marker lights seal?

wonder if they used the right stuff? Also could be the moonroof drains, or on a slim chance the windshield gasket.
Mine did the exact same thing. One time after a heavy rain the water streamed in, down the dash, and right into the NAV slot. Messed up the screen for a few days until it dried out.
They had a hard time finding the entry point but tracked it to a split seal under one of the marker lights. New light and silicone on them all. No problems since.

I should clarify. The drains are for my sunroof. I imagine the Hummer has a similar set up. Take an air hose and "gentle" blow them out.

Glad you got things worked out... we had a "lemon" Jeep way back in '89 (before I knew better! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif ) that we never got resolved! I finally traded in the P.O.S. and never looked back! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
