Now, I KNOW no one could possibly disagree as PEWTER POWER RULES!! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

But for all the doubters out there, here's a little poll for owners (& to-be) to vote their H2 colors.

Polls only allow 5 choices, so I took some liberties... http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I don't even think pewter is a real color. It's for those that can't make a choice. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Black is the absence of color and white is the blending of all color when dealing with light. The opposite is true when dealing with paint.
So if you have Black you have a bucket of mixed up paints and if you have White you have a bucket of nothing!
Now, about Pewter:

Pewter may be best, but only after black. Pewter would be a little bit better than it is if it didn't start with PEW . Also, it sounds too much like putrid .

Printed from http://www.care2.com
Your Favorite Color: What it Says About You
Adapted from “The Healing Power of Color” by Betty Wood (Inner Traditions, 1998).
Simple Solution

Whether we’re a vibrant Orange, or a peaceful Blue, our color preferences are a key to understanding our personalities. Find out what this color expert has to say about your favorite color: what does it reveal about who you really are?

White: Symbolic of purity, innocence, and naivete,...

Red: ... those who choose it can be abrupt at times... quick to judge people and take sides.
.. so they may be unaware of their own shortcomings. They find it hard to be objective and may blame others for any mishaps.

Maroon: It is often a favorite color of someone who has been battered by life

Orange: This color of luxury and pleasure appeals to the flamboyant Orange people may be inclined to dramatize a bit. They can be a little fickle and vacillating,

Yellow: The color of happiness, wisdom, and imagination, Yellow is chosen by the mentally adventurous, searching for novelty and self-fulfillment. Yellow usually goes with a sunny and shrewd personality, with a good business head and a strong sense of humor. It is the color of intellectuality and all things to do with the mind. Yellow folks are usually clear and precise thinkers who have a good opinion of their own mental capacities and who have lofty ideals.

Gray (Pewter): The color of compromise. Older Grays like life to run on an even keel with few ups and downs. Young Grays may be withdrawing from life and suppressing their personalities. Grays often tend to over-work.

Black: Black people want to give the appearance of mystery, but their preference may also indicate a suppression of desires and worldly aims.

Stealth Gray looks pretty nice. I like many of the colors. Each color has different ideas that they lend to a perticular look as far as custom or just dress up ideas. Gray was just more scarce and I liked it with out any thought about it. It just jumped out at Me as being out of the ordinary and not like all the other year models of colors I have seen running around so, I just did not want to match to many others. It has paid off in many ways that I had not thought off. The custom work that the Gray leaves so many possiblities by allowing You to add black, pewter, white, silver, and many other colors for airbruhing themes or just accents with the different colors works real well.
So My vote went to Stealth.
I like evveryone's rig especially if they put their personality into it. But, DRTYF I'm grateful that You have reserved Your personiality from being planted all over Your nice Pewter. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

LoLo just called and said to change her vote from Pewter to anything but Pewter! In Dallas traffic she came to realize that Pewter is INVISIBLE! Forget "Stealth" Gray, Pewter is equipped with an "Invisishield".

After nearly getting run over by countless idiots, she did battle with a semi for lane rights. When he tried running her off the road (literally) and flipped her off, she called the trucking company, reported him, and was told he would be fired as soon as he showed up with his delivery! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

A long time ago I was a secretary for a company that had trucks. I was speaking with my boss who was driving one at the time and a woman had called on the other line to complain about his driving. I told her to hold a moment:

Me: "Mr. Johnson, a woman is on the other line and she said that your truck cut her off and she is upset..."

Mr. Johnson: Slammed on his brakes "Ask her if she liked that!"

lmao..Switch lines-

Me: "Ma'am I'm really sorry about that, my manager said the driver will be fired when he gets back to the shop." http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Back home... safely, thankfully! This all happened at about 3pm... we were at a merging of two highways, and he just kept on coming -- regardless of the fact I was in the lane he was merging into! (...just about even with his cab at the time!) I moved over, quite upset, and laid on my horn -- to which he replied with his! (Dennis, I could have used the train horn about then! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif )

Pretty pissed about this point, I turned on my turn-signal -- tried to warn him -- and nearly lost my spare when I whipped to my right and into his lane. He wasted no time to jolt left and pass me -- while we shared "salutes". As soon as he got me even with the middle of his trailer, he weaved into my lane trying to force me off the road -- through the car on my right!

This was the point in which I forwent my exit (in less than 1 mile) and chased the bastard down until we could get all the numbers off the back of the truck. As soon as he sped up and tried to lose me, he cut off another car (this time a Taurus) I didn't hesitate to call -- and give them a rundown of the incident that had just happened.

I doubt that any action will be taken, but the WOMAN on the other end -- the safety control officer -- assured me that he would be losing his job over it. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif Who really knows...

LoLo,
the funny part is, even if nothing "long term" happens to the driver of an OTR truck... generally, if the have a complaint, they have to make a stop and get "drop urine" -- get drug screened on the spot...

that will always be a pisser, even if nothing comes of the complaint, it causes some sh*t...

Ok, so there are so many pewter colored H2's out there they must rule. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif Just like a red F1 is better than a black. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif :cough...bs...cough...cough...:

H2F, now that you put it all in perspective with your pic change, I think you're right. Pewter rules.... in normalcy. :cough... cough... bs... cough...:http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/contrib/tweetz/bootyshake.gif http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/contrib/edoom/fart.gif http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/otn/funny/moon.gif

Interesting shot of the Yellows herding the other colors from last Sunday http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Any color Hummer is Great!

But...come the revolution...if you aren’t in Yellow – it’ll be your back to the wall.

Bugs,

I testdrove a Yellow H2 (prior to the arrival of my truck), does that count? The truck was so bright, the glare nearly blinded me!
