Guys,

I really like the look of the 2004 steering wheel center/boss - the all black one with the H2 logo. Couple of questions:

1) Can it be swapped out?..and if so, is it a simple job? (airbags etc.)

2) any idea on cost for the 2004 version?

Thanks

Darren

Dan,

Thats great - you are welcome to it!.....just need to find out if a 2004 will fit and if so what it will cost me?

You can have my 2003 wheel centre for free once I can sort out the above!

Awesome! Thanks a bunch!!

You know where to find me http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Incidentally, I'm pretty sure its just a rubber/vinyl cover that's held on with a couple screws. You shouldn't have to mess with the airbag, horn, etc. At least that's how it is on other vehicles I've seen.

Thanks again,
- Dan

OK Dan.

Guys,

anyone know for sure if this is swappable? - anybody got access to a parts manual/price list?

Thanks

I would be willing to swap as well when I finally get my H2 - I prefer the 2003 steering wheel to the 2004.

All of the GM's on the Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade/H2 platform are using the round insert this year as opposed to the embossed 2003 steering wheel. Makes sense, GM only has to carry one part for the wheel hub and then simply have the different inserts on hand.

We'll have to see what they do to the 2005 models.
