I hav noticed that the mirror vibrate when you drive faster than 60 miles/h. It's almost like the mirror flicks every one to two second.
Does anybody have the same problem?
How can I fix this?

I've seen it and the cure is supposed to be using the folding function of the power mirrors to reset the mirrors. cycle them like 3 times and see if it helps.

I took mine in and they replaced it. In fact, they told me GM was preparing to tell everyone too bad, live with it. But my dealership did it anyway. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I don't think it can be fixed. I think it has to be replaced. My driver side mirror was vibrating and the dealer replaced it.

There are 2 issues associated with this. One is where the whole mirror assembly vibrates on it's post. A second issue is where the mirror glass itself is lose inside the mirror housing. I have had both and have had both repaired under warranty.

Narrow down exactly what is vibrating and you know what needs to be fixed.

The entire mirror vibrating on the post was the issue I had. And as I said the dealer replaced the whole mirror assembly.

My passenger side mirror won't fold in when I hit the electric mirror fold ( rotates toward vehicle to protect them ), but the driver side does w/o a problem. I've only had my '05 New Beast for 3 months http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif I guess I'm headed to the dealer to find out whats up...

I've had both the post loose as well as the glass (3 times). I'm on my 4th new mirror...seems to be OK so far. (6 months).

I had an issue with both my mirrors having about an inch of play in them from the post. I brought my sut into the dealer to get it checked out, they fully rotated them in and out 5 times and presto, no more play. I hope thats the last of the "dumbo ears" mirrors!

Dan,

After 4 months, my right side failed in folding, even after I tried all the reset & assist sequences. The dealer replaced the right side today.

My driver side was replaced by the dealer. It was loose but the passenger side was fine. I tried the folding in and out trick but it didn't work.
