Does anyone else have a "whookah, whookah, whookkah" sound coming from the front end when either braking fast or chewing gum? I'm just hoping it doesn't stop.

BTW: Wasn't it you who recommended the Marine Corps Museum? "The little guy" (hereinafter "TLG" - somewhere between 6 months and 20 years old) and I went today and had a great time. In addition to the great exhibits, the gift shop has some pretty cool toys I can pretend to buy for TLG (Am-track, M-1 Abrams models, big Corsair toy). TLG got one of these for Christmas - http://www.airflowinc.net/corsair.htm - so, he liked the two Corsairs there.
We've gone to the much-nearer-to-us Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Museum, which is awesome, about 30 times (really, it's only about 10 minutes away, and we have a season pass). I like how the A&S Museum has the no-knife symbol on the front door, and only a McD inside; but the USMC Museum actually SELLS knives in the gift shop, sells beer in the cafe, and has a bar inside. Marines know how to run a museum.

i believe that is the normal sound of the positronic evaporator coil that is attached to the canooter valve just under the skid plate on the left side.

When I spit out the gum and light a cigar, the whookah sound usually goes away unless I'm driving on a cold, bumpy surface.

I was gonna say along with some other replies i agree i think its probably the ABS, but if it really sounds out of place, take your car in and get it checked.

Generally, when I have ABS problems, it sounds like "ickee, ickeee, ichah, pahtang boinnnggg."

Does the sound change to a "whir whir whir" when you drive over a power pellet?

Then it sounds like you have a case of Pac Man Fever!

The museum rocks doesn't it!! My father-in-law is one of the "founders" and I was able to go to the black tie event the night before it opened, with John Glenn and some other famous people, and tour it then.

We then went to the dedication the next day where we were about 10 rows deep watching W and the others speak. It was a pretty cool event! The exhibits rock and the quotes engraved in the ring are phenomenol, especially considering most were from Army brass!

I have spoken with my technicians, and they suggest that a shrubbery might be stuck in your undercarriage.

It was pretty good; though I didn't get to explore it in as much detail as I wanted because I was just hitting the stuff the little guy was interested in.
