View Full Version : Not ready for "Racing Stripes"....just yet!

Going to hit some trails and make some of my own in the Bishop, CA area, and was wondering what some of you are doing to prevent "racing stripes"? We'll be going through some thick brush and I know there must be some sort of vinyl siding to mask the sides. Just wondering what are others using...........

If you do a search, you'll find plenty of threads on this. You can buy them (magnetic shields) or make them. There's also a recent thread in this section buy a guy who's going to do a group buy on the materials and make them for whoever is interested.

If you are going to portect everything order up a full hood bra for the frotn end and get tape for the mirrors and upper door sills/ plastic.
