Sounds like you may have a worn pitman or idlerarm, a wheel bearing would not cause your tire to move about like that.

I can grab the rotor side to side and watch it move in the caliper and the tie rods don't move. What is the drive train warranty on this ?? 2003 h2. Any ideas ?

I do not know if H2 wheel bearings are designed the same way as Trailblazer wheel bearings. The ABS sensor is built into the Trailblzer wheel bearing assembly. They cost me $750.00 apiece for my wife's Trailblazer...then we traded it in on the H2. But only after we put tires on the Trailblazer...WTF was I thinking!!!???:OWNED:

Sounds like wheel bearing to me. Its easy to do yourself . Look on ebay there was a salvage place selling them for $90 . They were GM surplus. I bought one and it was excactly the same. 1hr job if you have the tools. Same as 2500 series GM pickups and suburban. GOod luck.

I had the same problem and it was covered by my extened non-factory warranty so I think you should still be covered as long as you are still under warranty.

It was definietly the wheel bearing. Should have took a video off it. You could grab the rotor and wiggle it around in a circle and watch it move in the caliper at least a 1/4" or more and nothing else on the truck would move . Scary as hell if it would have come off!!The sad part of it all ,didn't effect the steering no wandering or moving around and I just came back from a 5oo mile trip!! Just the unusal tire noise sounded like big lug tires and that cleared up!! Happy camper now:jump: Thanks again Dug and everybody for the info. Tazhog:dancingbanana:
